The Library holds ESL (English as a second language) classes - please contact the Library for dates and times.

The Library has a meeting room available to the public.  Please contact the Library for availability, guidelines and fees.

The Library also houses the Gordon Memorabilia Room.  This room displays several books from Dr. Gordon's private collection and other memorabilia pertaining to his personal interests and profession.

To Obtain a Library Card:
All Austin County residents are entitled to a free library card. Proof of residency (Driver’s license, checkbook, lease, etc.) is required.  Non-residents may obtain a library card for a fee of $20 per annum.  Replacement cards are available for a $1 fee. 
Any teacher employed by the local school district, but not a resident of Austin County, may also obtain a free library card.

The Friends of the Virgil & Josephine Gordon Memorial Library exist to build a partnership between the Library and the community to advocate for quality library service for all the people of Sealy, Texas and surrounding community.
